Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) If you have kids who are Frozen crazy like I do, just go buy this right now. I told my wife I had gotten this for review and she immediately was stunned because she didn't know they made a Spot it for Frozen. She made me buy a second set for her kids at her school right then and there.
I played four games of this with my four year old daughter last night. Best night of my life hands down. She's adorable playing it and wins almost every time. I don't know how she does it but for the rest of my life, I'm going to remember her pointing at one card and then the other , "olaf....olaf" or "anna...anna" and then taking the cards and adding them to her pile.
If you've never heard of Spot it! It's a great game. Basically there are 55 cards with pictures and letters. Each card has 8 or so images or letters on it. Somehow, there is always one match between all 55 cards. Pick any two cards and there is a common image or letter between them - don't know how they do it but I'm sure it's just a combination/permutation/math thing. The goal is to find a match before your opponent does. You need two to five players. The first person to spot a match gets the two cards and the person with the most cards at the end wins. There are other variations to the game you can play. The card set comes in a really pretty and I'd say collectible tin can. If you should lose a card, the game is still eminently playable - you just have one less set.
The Spot It game comes in different levels. The junior level games have simpler pictures. This one has pictures and letters so your kid learns the alphabet too. Get the level you want and the concept you want to reinforce with your kid.
I can't say enough great things about this game and game concept. Learning was never so much fun!
