This is a really cool set, but I would highly recommend it for more mature builders. It has a LOT of very small pieces and most of them make up greebles to add to the main body of the mech. Many of those greebles are fine and sturdy. A few of them, like the ones that attach to the front leg assembly and the ones that attach to the front shoulder, are pretty fragile and won't stay together well during play or posing unless you are careful.



Of course, the green classic space minifigs are great, although I wish they had the cool classic space helms WITHOUT the visor (Like Benny form the lego movie). Nonetheless, it's very cool to have the first and only classic space minifigs in green.



The turtle is a neat build as well. Very sturdy, and you could easily build some cool weapons to replace the cannons on his shell from pieces you have laying around your lego collection.



Not pictured on the box anywhere (I can't understand why!!!) is the stand that the turtle fits onto and the two yellow barrells that come as accesories to the whole set.



Altogether, this is a very neat set for the classic space fan, mech fans, mature builders and kids alike, but once again, be warned. It is very sturdy, but has some pieces that will fall off pretty easily during play or posing. Oehr than that, this model stays together well and has the ability to pose it in many ways. It stands up and is very sturdy when posed.



M yrecommendation, as with any lego set, is to visit the lego store's website and make sure you know the MRSP on this set. It's in short supply now since it just came out and sold out fast, but it will be back as teh rumor mill has beencorrected (This is not a limited one time run), so don't pay too much for it.
