CUSTOMER REVIEW

The best point in favour of this product is that it is lego style toy that does not intimidate a child with intricate electronic components. My 6-1/2 year old daughter started playing with it and was very excited to have completed her first project to light a bulb with a switch. Theories of electricity followed naturally when initially the bulb did not lightup. I showed her the shiny metal strip beneath the connectors and explained conductivity a little.

Another major advantage is that there are mostly no wires, and the components are hidden from view, giving it a very un-complicated look that a child can easily comprehend. This difference makes possible for my daughter to actually play with it.

The only problem seems to be the quality of plastic used. It looks as if it might break if a component was bent while snapping in. Still, I highly recommend this product.

In the Winter or on a rainy day our family looks for indoor activities (other than watching TV). Often times we pull out one of our daughter's Play Doh sets, but often times we try to choose a game. The problem is that it is tough to find a game that a four year old can master that won't bore us parents to death ( I mean there are only so many time that you can play Candyland and Shoots and Ladders). Teh Disney Eye Found Is simple enough for our daughter to learn, but has enough variety for my wide and me.

Notes-

- For up to 6 players - game tokens included Mickey Mouse, Alice (from Alice in Wonderland), Platypus, Ariel, and Tinker Bell

- Everyone in the game either wins or loses - making it a great game for any children that struggle with losing

- To win everyone must reach Cinderella's castle before midnight... fail to do so means that everyone loses. All players continue to play (and look for items) even after they have reached the castle.

- Helps to teach counting and telling time - while they search for items on the playing board

- The playing board is about 6 feet long and is covered with scenes from various Disney movies.... Cars, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, to Mickey mouse Clubhouse (and more). When a player lands of a search tile or when the spinner stops on a search space - you must select a card that has an item on it (the sinner board will indicate if it is a blue or red card). All players must search for the item on the card and place mouse ears (or as my daughter calls it an "Oh Toodles") on the item. When the sand timer runs out you count the number of items that have been found and *all* players advance that number of spaces

Final Verdict - Disney Eye Found it is a great game that can be played by the entire family. Older children (above 10) may become bored due to the lack of strategy (although it is more entertaining than "Shoots and Ladders" and "Candyland"). However, our 4 year old loves the game. Recommended

CUSTOMER REVIEW

Just got these cards in the mail yesterday and went through them last night with my friends. I thought the 4th expansion was a little weak but this one is quite a bit better. nothing can compare with the shock of the original game the first time you play it but these cards filled some holes I didnt know i was missing LOL. Obviously if you are here looking at the fifth expansion you know the game. If you are like me, you buy everything they make as soon as it comes out but if you have the original game and are not planing on getting all of the expansions this is a good addition. ranking all of the expansions I would go 1st, 2nd, 5th, 3rd, 4th, bigger blacker box (though the box is needed, lol). anyways this is a good buy, some of these i have been wondering why they had not been done before so it fits really well.

This is a great flying little quad, although it has been fairly windy since this has been delivered I have still enjoyed it, it does fair in light wind but it is a very light little machine and a gust of wind will pick it up and carry it away fairly quickly, It's a tough little bird though, I hung it up in a tree yesterday and instead of freaking out I looked and saw how it was hooked to the tree then I flew it right off the branch fairly easily, then instead of getting hung up even further up the tree I let it fall the rest of the way down, it smacked just about every branch on the way down and really don't even have a scratch on it.

The camera is a fairly decent little camera although I upgraded the MicroSD card fairly quickly, the 1gig card fills up pretty quick. I use a USB cable to copy the video files to my computer instead of taking the SD out every time I'm sure taking the card in and out so much will wear it out fairly quick.

The remote is great, it feels comfortable in hand and has digital trim settings and a digital readout showing throttle setting, remote battery life, trim settings, camera settings, etc, it also has the 360 inversion button you can tap to make the quad do flips, be sure to have some altitude before doing this a be ready to hit the throttle again to keep the quad from hitting the ground, you can also use the top left button for this, press it and when it starts beeping you can tap you rudder controls up, down, left, or right ta make it flip in the direction you like, this is a little more fun than just the 360 inversion.

Other than that there is not much more I can say about this Quad other than I love it, I do plan on building my own quad in the future and this is giving me some great training on the physics of a quad and how to fly one.

Let me add that some proper care an manteinence of your LiPO batteries will make them last long, There are many videos on Youtube on proper care of your batteries but here are some tips.

* Your batteries will come from the factory charged, but not fully, Charge them fully before flying.

* Do not run your battery down all the way, leave about 20% power in the battery, you can purchase voltage alarms that will buzz at a specified

voltage.

* after flying wait about 15 minutes for battery to cool down before re-charging.

* when putting batteries up for storage do not fully charge them, charge them about 80%.

** UPDATE **

12/18/2013 - A much as I hate to say because I enjoy this little quad, the left rear motor is burnt out and the quad will not fly anymore, I could replace the motor but I believe that at the pricemark that these quads are priced the motors should last longer than this So I am shipping it back for a refund, I hate that I have to do this because it was a fun little copter to fly... I'll take away one star from my review because I really

did enjoy this quad.

I will update this review in a month or so to let you know how everything is going.

My neighbor originally bought these for her son, who is 6. They were too beginner for him, so she handed them to us. My son loves them. They are very beginning words, The cat pulled a bat from the hat. The games are really neat in the back too. My son enjoys listening to the clues and finding the answers. He really has yet to pay attention to the words, but he's 3. We have time!

Beware of stock purchased directly from Amazon. Complete knockoffs. I have uploaded pictures of the doll received today. I am not sure it would be allowed to be posted. Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) Not knowing exactly what this game was, we took advantage of picking this one up for our boys ages 8, 9 and 11.

Let me caveat this, with the suggested ages for this product are 7 to 11 years old.

The first day they opened this and started playing, there was nothing but laughter and enjoyment for more than two hours for all three who sat down to play this. They all got along (often a problem in competitive board games) and despite the fact that they didn't bother to keep score, they really liked it. We have a fairly big foyer for them to set this up, and without parental supervision or interaction, they played peacefully and contently for a long time.

And they had no problems going back to the game either. So all-and-all, for the ages posted on the box, this is a perfect game. Not sure how educational it is, but it works on hand-eye coordination and I'd say it's one of the better team-building games that we own. Certainly a great investment for the $18 price tag.

While I don't have any negatives about this delightful game, the first thing that my wife said when she opened it was "Did you buy Beer Pong for the kids?" Admittedly this product can definitely be used for other purposes... but again - it was surprisingly amusing for the simplicity.

K'NEX 375 Piece Deluxe Building Set

K'NEX 375 Piece Deluxe Building Set

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) I confess that I wasn't very familiar with K'NEX, as they weren't as popular as Legos when my kids were younger. Still, I figured I could use it at my school (primary aged kids 5-9) for some nice play/reward time. Worth noting that the minimum age listed is 7, as this is not a simplistic block set by any means. Young fingers or children with low fine motor skill levels will most definitely struggle with these. That said, however; older kids (even the adult kind) will truly love it!

This is a dynamic product with many options for creative minds. It comes with instructions for building many exciting, moving, interactive structures, but there's also plenty of opportunities to tap into the potential within the big red tub. There are 350 pieces (including some small pieces), as well as some thin rope for some of the creations.

K'NEX is a great product that will keep the builder in your world fascinated for hours. Highly recommended!

Monopoly Board Game

CUSTOMER REVIEW

Chances are that you've already played Monopoly once or twice in your life, so I'll skip most of the well known details such as it's a great game for 4 or more players both old and young. Anyways the quality of the board and game pieces are about the same as previously released Monopoly boxes. The only big differences are the new cat token and the speed die as well as new rules related to it. My guess is that the speed die was introduced since the most common complaint about Monopoly is that the game takes too long to finish. However you really don't need the speed die if you played using the official rules involving property auctions. Specifically, if a player lands on property and fails to buy it, that property immediately goes to public auction for all the players to bid on with a minimum starting bid price that is way below the normal property selling price. This makes the game finish much faster.

Personally, I find it more enjoyable to play the themed versions of Monopoly though they tend to cost more (even though most of the time, the rules are the same and the differences are just cosmetic):

Monopoly: South Park Collector's Edition

Futurama Monopoly Collector's Edition

Monopoly The Simpsons Edition

SpongeBob Squarepants Edition Monopoly

Monopoly Hello Kitty

Monopoly Family Guy

Star Wars The Clone Wars Monopoly

If you can find them and you like playing Monopoly a lot, the better quality sets are better as well. They have nicer looking and more durable game pieces. Of course, they cost more as well.

Crayola Ultimate Art Case with Easel (Color May Vary), (04-5674)

CUSTOMER REVIEW

the colouring items cant be locked into the case, thus would wobble around wen u carry them. the paint have no cover on them so it would most probably stain your bag if u didnt dry them before keeping and carrying them around. the easel is not safe to use, especially since the markers cant be locked in the notches provided tightly, and with the crayons and etc which are free to wobble around, it is just a mess disaster waiting to happen in a car or plane ride.

The coloured paper provided looks and feel cheap. the easel does not have a clip to hold the paper, which may cause the paper to slip or fly away.

the only good part is that the quality of the crayons and pens still holds by the brand. other than that, u are just better off getting your own bag and place your colouring items inside instead.
