This is an awesome action figure. This figure is meant for a child to play with and have a blast with. I collect toys and I enjoy this figure. It is big and has lights and sounds.
Baymax's armor does NOT come off. Hiro is not really poseable. He is stuck in a crouching position and his magnets are used to activate flying sounds on Baymax when you attach him on his back. When you tilt the figure in different directions, you get variable sounds with Hiro on his back. There is also an on/off button on the back so you can play with this with or without sound effects. There is also a button on his torso that you can push to activate different lights and sounds. When Hiro is on his back, he talks, without Hiro, he has sound effects. Batteries are included and is ready for fun immediately.
The figure is quite hefty and top heavy. The feet are tiny but the figure has no problems standing up. I have him on my shelf and he did not tip over. There is a button to flip his wings out, which span 18 inches, and his neck moveable so you can pose him like he is flying.
His left fist is also a projectile and shoots with a push of a button. It does not fly far but I would still be careful when aiming at other children. His fist do not open, but he can move his arms up and down and side to side and his legs have limited movement.
I have not seen the movie yet, but I am looking forward to it. The figure sort of reminds me of Mazinger Z with the fist and robot look.
He's a great action figure and is quite large. Any fan of Big Hero 6 will love this thing.
