Monster High Amanita Nightshade Doll

I was really hoping Amanita would glow. Her skin is such a light, bright, luminous green it seems to glow – but sadly, she does not glow in the dark. Amanita Nightshade is the Daughter of the Bad Seed of the Corpse Flower. She is a bad seed indeed, and I think she has the strangest diary and personality of any Monster High Character. Amanita speaks about herself in the third person, and she is selfish, greedy and vain. She is her own BFF. I have a feeling Amanita is poised to be the next big villain at Monster High.
Her personality may be lacking, but her beauty is not. As mentioned, Amanita has lovely green skin that is perfectly complimented by her long, shiny purple-blue hair. In addition to her hair, Amanita has purple eyes, eyebrows, and lips. Surrounding her eyes are a leaf decoration.
Amanita is wearing a lovely dress made up of two separate parts. The main part of her dress is a long dusty lavender-pink, wrap-around gauzy, ghostly dress. The bottom portion of this dress is petal shaped and decorated with black twisting thorns and leaves, and the dress transitions in color from the dusty pink to green. This dress is trimmed with black around the neckline, waist, and shoulders. There is more trim on the front of the dress – dark purple ruffles that run vertically along some of the petal shapes. Under this overlay she wears a mini dress with a black leatherette skirt and bright green top with a black thorny print.
In her hair Amanita wears a black flower that looks like a twisted hibiscus bloom. On her feet are black open toed heels with a leaf design. The heel of her shoes is made up of a bulbous flower pod. Amanita has ankle decorations that look like they are part of her shoes, but are not. These accessories are flowing, green twisted vines that are decorated with a dark purple flower. She also carries a black handbag with a flower petal design.
Amanitas other accessories include an icoffin, a purple portfolio, her Diary (“The Unlife and Times of Amanita Nightshade Vol. 56), a spiky black bracelet, black dangle earrings, a thorny black necklace, a hairbrush and a doll stand. Amanita is the standard MH doll size, so she should be able to exchange clothing with most of the other ghouls. Amanita has multiple points of articulation, so she can assume just about any pose. Amanita is a very pretty doll, with a great color scheme. I will look forward to finding out more about this unusual character. (How she came to be sleeping in the DeNile crypt, and her feud with Medusa!)
