Cards Against Humanity
Cards Against Humanity
CUSTOMER REVIEW
This is not a review about playing Cards Against Humanity, it's a review of the fallout endured from playing Cards Against Humanity. Take it as a warning, if you will.
If you aren't a horrible person already, you will soon be. You will play Cards Against Humanity, and as others have said, you will be shocked, appalled, and worst of all, you will learn and adapt. You'll reach for your smartphone and search for terms you've drawn such as "The Übermensch", "Heteronormativity", and "The Three-Fifths Compromise". You will commit these and many other newly-learned words to memory.
And that's where it all comes crashing down.
At first, you might allow "front butt" to casually wander its way into a conversation here and there. As more of your subconscious fights to unleash the trauma, you'll find yourself uttering "nipple blades" and "mouth herpes" in the most unacceptable of times. You'll visit the Cards Against Humanity website and bomb them with suggestions for new cards like "Cutting the cheese at a funeral" and "Scissoring".
Soon, you will meet up with new people to inflict Cards Against Humanity upon them and they'll be hooked. You will receive random voicemails and texts, asking for another hit of that "8 oz. of sweet, Mexican black tar heroin", and you will comply, because you're just as hooked as they are. They'll bring new friends in to freshen up the game...you will feel a rush as the look of shame crosses their innocent eyes as they win a round by playing "Amputees" against your "White People Like _____".
"I was just throwing that card away!" they'll proclaim, but you know the sad truth.
You will buy the expansion pack. You will host parties where you play through every card in both boxes. You'll wonder where the time went. Your face will hurt from laughing so much. Your friends will buy their own sets, and the infection will be passed on.
A team of rescue workers will find you you weeks later in your closet, frazzled, emaciated, and stinking from "Soiling Yourself", because you just couldn't stop with playing Cards Against Humanity against yourself. The light of day will strike your eyes and you'll gaze up at your saviors with pensive anticipation...
"Wanna play?"

Bought all 4 expansions that are out and the "Bigger, Blacker Box". With the abs I have received from excessive laughter I am considering being a model.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
Just got these cards in the mail yesterday and went through them last night with my friends. I thought the 4th expansion was a little weak but this one is quite a bit better. nothing can compare with the shock of the original game the first time you play it but these cards filled some holes I didnt know i was missing LOL. Obviously if you are here looking at the fifth expansion you know the game. If you are like me, you buy everything they make as soon as it comes out but if you have the original game and are not planing on getting all of the expansions this is a good addition. ranking all of the expansions I would go 1st, 2nd, 5th, 3rd, 4th, bigger blacker box (though the box is needed, lol). anyways this is a good buy, some of these i have been wondering why they had not been done before so it fits really well.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
As a teacher, I normally try to avoid a lot of electronic toys at our house, but I do like to keep a few on hand for long car rides, sick days, etc. In the past, I've always been happy with the LeapFrog brand. We have several other items from them and I feel like they all work well to provide a nice blend of entertainment and education.
I purchased this on an impulse when amazon had a big discount on it. So far it has been a disappointment. I bought it for my two-year-old, and he played with it for about 10 minutes before putting it away on the shelf. It seems noisier and more chaotic than our other Leapfrog items. The touch screen works well, responding to even a light touch, but once he had gone through the items and heard all of the different sounds, he had little interest in interacting with any of the games or audio prompts. Since he loves trains and animals and counting, I was surprised how little interest he had in this toy. My 4-year-old was only very briefly interested, which was not a surprise considering her age.
If you're like us and only plan to purchase one or two of these type of items, I would recommend the Leapfrog Text and Learn (alphabet) or the Leapfrog Chat and Count Cell Phone (numbers). They don't look as exciting on the surface but they have provided much more enjoyment over time than this.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
Excellent game, brilliant art, poor components.
The game's core mechanic is similar to deck drafting from collectible card games, where you get a hand of cards, pick one, and then pass your cards to your neighbor. The difference is in 7 Wonders you play the card you choose immediately. This is great because it means the play speed is brisk and the game can play seven people about as fast as it can play three, a trait rarely found in board games.
The game features a tremendous amount of variety because, along with the cards being shuffled and different each game, you can play one of 14 different wonders (7 wonders plus an alternate version of each on the back) that can seriously adjust your strategy and how you try to win the game.
A feeling that comes from the game is the sense of progress and power as you build the city and your wonder using the cards that you choose. Each of the cards represents a building that your constructing in your city. Some demonstrate scientific achievement, military might, or economic opportunity. One cool ability is that some buildings allow you to build other buildings for free, making you feel smart that you built the first building.
This is a great game you'll play a lot, and the cards, while beautiful, are thin and easily damaged. It's wise to get some sleeves to protect them if you don't want it to wear out.

I just bought the game and played it several times with adults and with 2nd, 3rd, and 5th graders. It is great fun and very simple to understand and play.
The goal is to be the first to identify a match on a pair of cards and to call out out the name of the figure in common. It is exciting to spot the match, frustrating to know there is a match which one cannot see, and disappointing when one is beaten to the punch. The game keeps everyone engaged. All the children laughed as we played, and all wanted to play again and again. And the youngest (7) and oldest (65) of us were winners. What more could one want for a summer game at the beach?!!
If you lose a card or two the game is still just as good.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
It is completely misleading and misrepresented. The product description shows that "Product Dimensions: 17.8 x 7.4 x 3.2 inches" but it is a miniature size only 7.5 inches x 4 inches. The dimension of the box is 16 inches x 5.1/4 inches x 3 inches.
The picture shows that is nice and made of metal/aluminum, but this helicopter that I received was made of cheap plastic, the remote control is very poorly made. Sadly it is sold and ships by Amazon.com. Amazon is losing its track!!!. I ordered another one which was sold by Ahero-RC and the color was yellow, that one was well constructed, made of metal/aluminum, but the dimension was still wrong/lie/misleading/misrepresented/tricky…

CUSTOMER REVIEW
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) Not knowing exactly what this game was, we took advantage of picking this one up for our boys ages 8, 9 and 11.
Let me caveat this, with the suggested ages for this product are 7 to 11 years old.
The first day they opened this and started playing, there was nothing but laughter and enjoyment for more than two hours for all three who sat down to play this. They all got along (often a problem in competitive board games) and despite the fact that they didn't bother to keep score, they really liked it. We have a fairly big foyer for them to set this up, and without parental supervision or interaction, they played peacefully and contently for a long time.
And they had no problems going back to the game either. So all-and-all, for the ages posted on the box, this is a perfect game. Not sure how educational it is, but it works on hand-eye coordination and I'd say it's one of the better team-building games that we own. Certainly a great investment for the $18 price tag.
While I don't have any negatives about this delightful game, the first thing that my wife said when she opened it was "Did you buy Beer Pong for the kids?" Admittedly this product can definitely be used for other purposes... but again - it was surprisingly amusing for the simplicity.

This toy is awesome, especially for babies that you are trying to get to crawl. My two boys absolutely LOVE this toy. Also, when they start to lose interest, this toy starts to move and make noise again to get their attention. They are too young still to do the games on the ball (it tells the baby to find an animal or number), but they love to push the buttons anyway. It rolls well on our carpet on hard flooring. It's one of their favorites!

I usually read the 1 star rating when buying a product. I saw the issues about the wheels sliding on hard floors, being too light to support a child while standing up, going too fast and kids falling on their face... The list goes on. Well after some critical thinking and shopping around I figured that most if not all of the products of this price and material would have the same issues. Well, the reviews were almost completely wrong!
Wheels sliding on hard floors... False, there is a rubber seam on the rear wheels that prevents side to side motion. (I have no idea where this critique came from) My entire main level is hard wood and this has not been an issue.
Too light to support a child while standing up... False (for the most part), my 12 month old is average size and it doesn't tip. That's not to say that if your kid is in the 95th percentire that it's going to be as sturdy as a rock.
Going to fast... False again! There are two settings on the wheels. One pretty much locks the rear wheels (not too much so that it's immovable). The other setting is free spining. My 12 month old (recieved this for his birthday) uses the locked setting on the main floor where it's hard floor and the free spinning setting on the carpet. He has never had the toy "run away" from him causing him to fall flat. Granted he has fallen but that's the purpose right? To help him learn to walk...
This is just my two cents I hope it's helpful.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
It's so hard to find Frozen merchandise that isn't a knock-off or that isn't marked up 3 or 4 x the original price!
Moms and dads - here's what you need to do to avoid those fakes and make sure you pay the suggested retail price: go to Amazon, and type in "Frozen Anna Amazon.com" and this will ensure that your results are from Amazon.com, and not a third-party seller. Amazon.com sells all the products at the manufacturer's suggested retail price (or lower), and they are genuine. It took me several tries (over different days) before Amazon.com finally had some of these dolls in stock. They were gone pretty quickly, and after they were sold out, all that was left were the dolls from the third-party sellers. Have patience - you never know when Amazon will get a shipment from the manufacturer.
Based on reviews, it seems there's a substantial risk that the third-party sellers are either offering cheap knock-offs or they are the price gouging people who snap up all the Frozen merchandise at the toy store (or on Amazon) and then turn around and re-sell them on Amazon for crazy prices. Let's all boycott these meanies!
When I finally got this doll (genuine, from Mattel) at the normal price, I felt like I won the lottery. Anna's dress does not have sleeves or bodice (instead they are painted on her arms and upper body) but she is beautiful for the price. Her face is beautifully painted and her hair and clothes were immaculate. Overall, I am so happy I was able to give this to my three-year-old daughter without having spent a fortune.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
I'm a mixed media artist and I have a rather large collection of decorated paper tape (washi tape) that I love to use and collect. My daughter is six, and as a crafty/creative little girl who is way into stickers, my tapes have always intrigued her. So I started getting her rolls to use in her own art, but most of the rolls sold online or in craft stores are either prohibitive in price, "boring" (at least to a six year old!), or *too* much- my daughter loves variety, so she'd rather have a large collection of different tapes than a just few giant rolls of one pattern.
This little tape set is PERFECT. It features 30 different rolls of "scotch" tape that's printed with various patterns (shiny, not matte, and NOT repositionable!) Everything from pink leopard spots to nesting dolls to flowers and fruits. The tapes are quite small/narrow (not the size of regular tape) and each is only 9 feet in length, but each comes with its own tiny dispenser. My daughter was charmed, and I have to admit- I am, too.
If you're a "grown up" paper crafter and looking to add to your tape collection, this MIGHT not float your boat- all the patterns are very much geared to young/tween girls. I like "cutesy" things myself and a lot of my washi tape has delicate and sweet patterns on it, but I really wouldn't know what to do with 30 rolls of neon/garishly printed tape. HOWEVER, it's perfect for anyone into kawaii or trendy designs.
I love it. I'm glad I didn't get it for myself (even if I am tape obsessed), but I'm glad my daughter loves it as much as she does.

CUSTOMER REVIEW
I purchased two of these for my two daughters--specifically for a long road trip.
This product has many pros:
1. My toddler/preschooler can color without me worrying about them marking on walls and other surfaces (because the pen only writes on the Doodle Pro).
2. The pen is attached to the toy, which is great, because I know that we would have lost it long ago if it weren't attached.
3. The screen is relatively large. There are probably larger ones out there, but this one was sufficiently large.
4. Amazon had the best deal I could find. I searched around, and this was the most cost-effective doodler I could find.
The only con that I have seen is that it's not extraordinarily durable. I purchased the toy two or three months ago, and already the screen shows some sign of damage. It's still useable, but certainly not good as new. I also left them out in the car overnight once, and the heat seemed to make the screen bubble (permanently) in a few places. I have to say that my girls are hard on toys, and they are still use-able, but they aren't quit as durable as I had expected. Still, I would recommend the product to a friend.

My 11 year old son LOVES THIS! He is having fun practicing all of the tricks and then performing for the rest of the family. I admit he fooled me on a couple of the tricks! For a starter kit, this is great. The price was right and he is learning a lot of fun things.

While I am not a chemist nor a volcano expert, I am a certified teacher. This kit provided hours and hours of quality time for my 4 year old, my six year old and myself. We measured ingredients, mixed solutions, made predictions, learned vocabulary, and discussed results. Can you think of many toys that can offer all of that? I thought the booklet that contained instructions was well-sequenced, with simple experiments followed by complex ones and with a helpful parent script. There were two drawbacks: the activities required direct parent involvement and sometimes a 2 hour wait time was required for "reactions" to happen
